Each month we will introduce you to a member of the Providential team. In this edition, we would like you to meet Courtney Dunn, our Help Desk Manager.
When did you join Providential Homes?
I joined the company on the 1st of June 2015 and have loved every minute of it!
What’s your day-to-day role?
My main role is to take calls from various organisations. When I receive a call, it is usually to book in an individual, couple or family into one of our properties in order to provide temporary accommodation. I will also take calls from members of general public who may need assistance such as furniture, clothing and food. I also assist my colleagues with other administrative tasks that they may need day to day.
Can you give us one highlight at Providential Homes?
Just one is nearly impossible! My highlight is coming to work each day and working with people who truly wish to help and empower others.
What motivates you?
As corny as it may sound, I’m motivated by seeing others happy and making my loved ones proud of me.
Your goals and aspirations?
I dream of completing a marathon one day!
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Often the most challenging part of my job is juggling multiple tasks and calls at once.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Definitely the ability to fly! I used to dream of flying all the time when I was a child.
