Aisha’s Story

Transitional Program

Moved into a safe rental home

Aisha, a mother of two in her mid-thirties, came to our refuge after facing a sudden housing crisis. She entered our Transitional Program and quickly began working with support staff to rebuild stability for her family.

Despite the challenges of balancing parenting and housing applications, Aisha remained focused and resilient. After several months of persistence, she was approved for a rental property in a safe and welcoming neighbourhood.

Aisha and her children have now settled into their new home, where they are creating routines and enjoying a renewed sense of safety and independence.

Names have been changed to protect the privacy and safety of our guests.
