Maya’s Story

Temporary Housing

Working towards long-term housing

Since engaging with our service, Maya has demonstrated a high level of commitment to her Housing NSW Parramatta case plan. She has consistently attended all scheduled appointments, complied with all requirements, and maintained full participation throughout the process.

While balancing the demands of parenting and significant personal challenges, Maya has remained focused on achieving stable, long-term housing for herself and her child. Her proactive approach and ongoing engagement have been commendable.

Maya has also expressed an interest in securing part-time employment, reflecting her readiness to take further steps towards independence. She has shared that, for the first time in many years, she feels genuinely supported and no longer isolated.

Her resilience and determination have been evident throughout, and our team is confident that she will continue to make positive progress in the future.
